All right, I'm gonna age myself a little bit. I'm also going to have a little fun with you as well.
Remember that song from Madness? Well they were a music group back in the 80's. (Now where the 80's fun or what?!) Anyways, they had this song that went a little like this...
"Madness, madness, they call it madness
Madness, madness, they call it madness
It's plain to see
That is what they mean to me
Madness, madness, they call it gladness, ha-ha
Madness, madness, they call it madness
Madness, madness, they call it madness
I'm about to explain
That someone is losing their brain
Madness, madness, I call it gladness, yee-ha-ha-ha
Propaganda ministers
Propaganda ministers
I've a-got a heavy due
I'm gonna walk all over you
Cos
Madness, madness, they call it madness
Well if this is madness
Then I know I'm filled with gladness
It's gonna be rougher
It's gonna be tougher
And I won't be the one who's gonna suffer
Oh no, I won't be the one who's gonna suffer"
I just couldn't help but post this. What with all the 'madness' out there, it sure is good to have something that is not associated with the system of madness.
Have a wonderful day, and don't worry about the madness!

Stepping away from Genewize for a moment
On a side note...
I was just thinking the other night, and again today. Many of us work at our jobs and give it a good effort. We put a lot of focus on it and strive for more. A lot of times we feel as if we come up short even though we are succeeding in so many ways. I will go so far as saying that just about anyone reading this has so much to be thankful for. No, this is not an early blog entry for Thanksgiving. I just want to let you know that you are better off than 99% of the people in the world.
Do you have eyes to see?
Do you have ears to hear?
Do you have the ability to walk?
Do you have the ability to use your hands?
What if all of this was gone?
Try this today. Give thanks to God for all that He has given to you. Enjoy the fact that you are here on this earth for a short amount of time. Love the people around you. Show kindness to the people you don't know. Make a friend. Share the Great News of Jesus Christ. Try to be a good testimony of His love.
If this is difficult for you, imagine your life without being able to see your kids. Imagine not being able to drive your car that you want to replace. Imagine not being able to hear the voice of your child or spouse who sometimes drives you crazy. Imagine having to be in a wheelchair all the time. Imagine not being able to walk into your residence that you want to replace with something bigger because you are now living in assisted care. Imagine not being able to touch your dog or cat that pees in the house. And worse, imagine that there was no God. No hope. No love. No savior who died for you. Well, I guess that would be impossible, because if there were no God, there would be no you.
Do your best in having a great day and stop to appreciate things a little more. Give more of yourself today. Look at your hands and just give thanks. Now raise them and give thanks.
